In our day and age, journalism is not simply a way to derive information about the world. It acts as a way for people from different backgrounds and different cultures to express their view on the world while communicating their stories to those who may not know about them.
We at the Grizzly want to share the stories of the people in our community and around the world to create a stronger bond between community members. Our club takes the extra mile to make sure that they cover a story that is important to them and will therefore give them the chance to express their love, or their distaste, of the world around them and how they would like to make a change.
I am very proud to introduce the first ever Denali High School newspaper, The Grizzly. The team and I have been working very hard to bring you articles that we feel will appeal to our diverse student body and we hope you find something in here that interests you. From book and movie reviews, to behind the scene coverage, our club has provided some astounding work that will leave you wanting more.
With that, sit back, relax, and learn a thing or two more about our world and the people around you.
